Water Polo Term 1 2021

Dear Parents and Caregivers

Here is some information about Water Polo, which is held at Splash Palace during Terms 1, 3 and 4, however we are only looking at teams for Term 1 at this stage.

Junior Water Polo is held in the shallow end of the main pool for years 4-6. Your child does need to be a confident swimmer in the main pool.

Years 2 and 3 will be held in the learner’s pool.

The cost will be $11.50 for term 1, plus pool entry fee on arrival at Splash Palace. Games are between 3.20pm and 6pm every Friday at Splash Palace.

Junior Water Polo will commence at Splash Palace in Term 1, starting on Friday 19th February till 9 April. There will be games on 19 February, 5 March, 12 March, 19 March, 26 March, (No game 2 April due to Easter) and our last game will be held on the 9 April.

If you would like to express an interest in your child playing Water Polo in Term 1, please fill in the form.

This will help us to determine numbers, teams and availability of coaches.

*Note – Due to the number of schools who are using the pool for Water Polo, teams are limited so return your form ASAP.

  • This notice is due to our school office by Tuesday 9 February.  More information will be sent home as soon as we can determine numbers for teams and/or coaches and supervisors. Please fill out the form below if your child is interested in playing in Term 1.
  • If your child is transitioning from the learner’s pool to the big pool there is a ‘Have a Go’ day on 9 & 10 February 4pm-4.45pm. (These dates are still to be confirmed). This is aimed at helping children with their transition from the learner’s pool to the main pool.
  • If you are interested in becoming a referee for either Junior or Senior Water Polo please contact [email protected]

Please do not send in money to the office, until we have determined numbers for teams and available coaches.
